Of''t the days ahead appear

dark and full of pain

the road in front is steep,

the horizon dark with rain.

Fears of what could happen

memories of the same

thoughts playing with emotions

can sure effect your game.

There is no sitting still

nor turning back to run,

this race we all must finish,

once we have begun.

Yet God supplies the power

through faith, the strength is grace,

that enables us to pass through trials

and finish well the race.

The course true victory follows

is in what Jesus did for you,

despised the shame, endured the cross,

the finish line in view.
