J. CHRISTOPHER WHITE EXPRESSIONS IN WOOD PO Box 73, Loveland, CO 80539 (970) 613-9517 email: parables@jchristopherwhite.com website: www.parablesinwood.com
Merry Christmas, I have just posted four new sculptures on my web site that I recently had photographed. I think that you'll enjoy seeing them and reading the accompanying poetry. They are, "Above the Thunder" (horse), "In Turn" (eagle), "Question of Denial" (abstract) and "Winner Lose All" (Fish). The horse will probably be next year's 2005 calendar cover. They are all on one page of new sculptures on the web site with links to enlarge the pictures and read the poetry.
If you haven't finished your Christmas shopping yet, let me remind you about my 2004 Sculpture and Beyond Calendar. These make great gifts and their is still time for us to ship them to you before Christmas. They are available for purchase on my web site individually and also at a reduced price in quantities. I hope you'll consider making these a part of your Christmas gift giving, it is truly a gift that will last all year long.
I have a trip a planned in February
to deliver a
sculpture to Florida, after that and a
couple of trips to Texas for wood we ought to be regular homebodies, (I wish). In June I have been
invited to help judge the 2004 International Woodcarver's Congress in
Davenport, IA. I will also teach a two day class during that week. In early
August I will be teaching in Canada. The following weekend is the Sculpture
in the Park show in Loveland. Then at the end of August I will be teaching
at the Krausman's Woodcarving Studio. I hope to see some of you
at the classes in 2004.
Sincerely, PS. Looking for a great fundraiser for your school or Church? My 2004 calendar is available at a very nominal cost to churches, schools and other qualifying organizations for fundraising purposes. Email Chris at parables@jchristopherwhite.com for details.
