West Texas Juniper, H10"

Counting The Cost

Notice the rippled effect of the wood is not quite as prominent as in "Stand Up". The wood used for the crawdad has more of the  underwater effect.

When there's a treasure to obtain

oft the price includes some pain.

A wise man will count the cost

making sure his efforts won't be lost.

Long ago One endured the pain

looked past the cross to what He'd gain

eternity with a priceless bride.

who would choose His love and there abide

He counted well that total cost

to redeem mankind and save the lost

and asks us now to do the same

lay down your life and receive His name.
