Blindside

Blindside

Hey, that's just the way God

 made me

and I'm content to be

A part of God's creation,

A simple creature of the sea.

And though you call me "devil fish"

Because of my looks and tail,

I abide where lies can't hurt me,

As through life I sail

For I know God made me beautiful,

Though prejudice may blind

You to the beauty I possess,

Because I'm not your kind.

Fear adds more distortion

To the picture that I paint,

I have truths I clearly illustrate

For a devil fish I ain't.
