Alabaster Hand with a Bronze Rose on Mesquite - H 11", W 10"
Center of God's Heart
Return to Relections of the Heart Gallery |
In
the Center of God's Heart
Some lives are like a rose
in their beauty and their sweetness,
tenderness defines them,
as do purity and goodness.
One sweet enough to tell the King
she desires to dance,
in His loving arms,
to experience romance.
Tender in the way
she rests on the Father's chest,
knowing she will find
both forgiveness and true rest.
Pure in heart, she knows she'll gaze
forever on His face,
for He gave her eyes to see Him,
through His loving grace.
On open palm, this tender bud
is lifted to the One,
she loves more than her very soul,
to God the risen Son.
God receives this precious life,
given wholly, not in part,
and holds her in a special place,
the center of His heart.
