Leap Of Faith

Leap of Faith

God wrote His truth upon our hearts,

gave us a conscience and a mind,

reveals Himself in all He's made,

He is not too hard to find.

Yet when our thanks and our acknowledgment,

that He is God, begin to cease,

our thoughts grow dark and futile,

vain speculations then increase.

Now, to justify our fantasies,

we label them as science,

seemingly convinced we hold

an explanation free from bias

Then, to take a breath of air,

from what life shows us to be true,

we must take a leap of faith

inconsistent with our view.

But, a true world view must explain

our shared experience,

not tell us that the things we know,

really don't make sense.

So, if the map that charts your course

cannot tell you how to go,

then find one that's consistent with

the Truth that all men know.
