The Face Of Unity

Love weaves a body

of rough human strands

into a unit of grace

a work of God's hands.

Then through that body,

for God's glory, we find,

that God's Spirit bears fruit,

and so He is defined.

As love, joy, and patience,

kindness, and grace,

each member equipped

and set into place,

By His Holy Spirit

in His perfect way,

to give into the body,

and thus grow day by day.

Until that unity formed

in the midst of His love,

lets the world see the face,

of their Savior above.
