Powerful
and swift
strength beyond a man's
yet yielded to the master,
he follows his commands.
Meekness is not weakness
but strength under control,
as the stallion's muscles ripple,
another's bidding is his role.
Jesus said to come and learn of Him
if peace and rest you seek,
although He is almighty,
He describes Himself as meek.
For He only did the bidding
of the Father up above.
including dying for our sins
which displayed the Father's love
And provided us the power
to yield our hearts unto His hand
there to display that self same love
as we follow His commands.

John 10:17-18 "For this reason the Father lovesMe because I lay down my life
that I may take it up again. No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it
down, and have authority to take it up again. This commandment I
received from My Father."
