Out Of The Mist |
Out Of The Mist
A mist surrounds our judgment,
a mist of time and lies,
we hear, but do not understand,
all the how's and whys.
We crave an explanation
so the answer we can hold,
but seeking explanation
sheds no light on what we're told.
For there is light in understanding
if you so incline your mind,
within that light, the path is clear,
there the answer you then find.
God's ways remain inseparable
from wisdom, truth, and grace,
understanding is God's gift
that gives us light to seek His face.
Explanation draws opinions in
and on the issues stays our eyes.
Understanding springs from God above,
pure and free from lies.
