"Rough Beginnings"
|
Equipped for every good
work,
accompanied down life's way,
even in rough beginnings
God is with you every day.
Hebrews 13:21
What if your plans and efforts
should not produce what you desire,
could it be this "failure" is a step
on a path that leads you higher?
And if the path He takes you down,
as you follow in His stride,
should lead you through a valley dark,
rest assured, He has not lied.
Psalm 23:4
For He said, "I'll never leave you"
He has promised to provide,
all that pertains to life and godliness,
as you in Him abide.
1 Peter 1:13
Underneath His pinions
refuge you may seek,
for He says His strength's perfected
in those who realize they're weak
Psalm 91: 4.
So bow the knee and thank Him,
place your shoulder to the plow,
the victory lies in knowing Him,
His grace will show you how.
Titus 2:11-12
