Into The Fray |
Dark clouds gather East and West
the pace of life preventing rest.
Horizons fill with lack and fear
of a looming battle drawing near.
My searching eyes look for a way
to circumvent the coming fray,
but only see the darkening sky,
side tracked by the question why.
Beyond the storm is the King's return,
as I await my heart does yearn
to see the start of His earthly reign
to see Jesus Christ come back again.
I thus find peace in His coming back
as I look for Him, I'll have no lack
of strength to face the coming fray,
both in the future and today.
I trust Him that His word is true
that He will show me what to do,
and as I let Him reign in me
I'll end this race in victory.
